Binghan Zhou completed his PhD in the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge. He received his Bachelor degree in Chemistry from Tsinghua University and MPhil in Engineering from Cambridge University. He is a member of Girton College.
His current research focuses on optimising hierarchically porous structures in synthetic materials using Murray’s law, a biomechanics principle describing the natural networks evolved for efficient mass transfer, such as leaf veins.
