Linqing Yang graduated from the China Academy of Art in Architectural Design. During her studies, she developed a keen interest in theatre space and performance. Regrading her study experience, she was fortunate to become an acquaintance of prestigious set designer, Wang Jing, workin as a scenography assistant for her since 2016. This job gave her an extensive exposure to participate in the production of more than 15 large-scale theatre projects. 
 
In 2018, she started her study in theatre, film and television scenography at Brera Academy master’s programme. During her study, she worked for the environmental theatre project Purgatory in collaboration with the Ravenna Teatro in 2019. In 2022 she participated in the Teste Inedite, an original drama project.
