Zhengkang Qu is a second-year PhD student in Physics in Cavendish Laboratory. His research mainly focuses on the spectroscopic characterization of condensed-matter systems. He completes his bachelor’s in science degree in 2020 at Nanjing University, major in Physics. His undergraduate research uses Ultrafast spectroscopy to study the exciton dynamics in perovskite nanocrystals. This work is published in the Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters 12.1 (2020): 238-244. Then he finishes his MPhil in Physics at University of Cambridge in 2021. Now he is working on using exotic optical techniques as well as algorithms to analyse the charge and heat transport properties of organic semiconductors.
